Events National Trainer-of-Trainers Institute A national trainer-of-trainers institute was held in San Antonio, TX on February 1-3, 1999. This two and one-half day institute was designed for those working with teachers to improve classroom assessment practice – principals, professional developers, lead teachers, college professors, etc. Participants were encouraged to: Explore important classroom assessment topics ranging from basic assessment literacy to grading and reporting; Gain experience in using a variety of interactive facilitation techniques; Become familiar with Toolkit98 as a training resource for assessment, and plan their own applications; and Build collaborative networks.
