Making Assessment Work for Everyone: How to Build on Student Strengths MissionThe Assessment Core Work Team (ACWT) is the working group in assessment for the cross-laboratory network group for the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) network. The ACWT is dedicated to improving student learning on a national scale by providing access to resources, technical assistance, and professional development in the area of classroom assessment.
Promising Practices in Assessment Database (PPAD)The Promising Practices in Assessment Database (PPAD) database contains a variety of high quality, assessment-focused materials developed by the ten regional educational laboratories (RELs). The database, affectionately called PPAD, serves as a tool for inventorying and disseminating best practices in assessment. REL staff inventoried the assessment-related materials at his or her own lab and selected the best practices for inclusion in the PPAD.
Toolkit98 LinksToolkit98 is a compendium of materials designed to assist classroom teachers to become better assessors of student learning. Primary users are intended to be those who have responsibility to coordinate and facilitate professional development in assessment for teachers.
