Title: Evaluation Director Organization: Duerr Evaluation Resources Email: scragle@duerrevaluation.com Phone: 530.893.3734 Fax: 530.893.0409 Susan Cragle, Evaluation Director, has been with Duerr Evaluation Resources for 14 years. In that time she has been involved in six administrations of the Centers for Disease Control’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey for the California Department of Education. Ms. Cragle also presented a paper at the 1995 International Evaluation Conference (Vancouver, B.C.) on implementing a controversial survey (YRBS) in California’s public schools. She has also directed the evaluations for the California HIV Prevention Education Programs (both state and federal funding), Innovative and Promising Tobacco Projects; the School/Law Enforcement Partnership’s Violence Prevention Program, two local Healthy Start Projects, a Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Grant program. For the last five years, Susan has been the Director of the California Healthy Kids (CHKS) North/Central Region. For the CHKS project, the staff have developed a database in which all information about each districts’ administration is kept. This database is accessible over the Internet by staff at all three Regional Centers. North/Central Regional staff have also been involved in revisions of the guidebook, field testing the elementary survey, developing forms for processing survey administration. Susan’s most recent contract is an evaluation of the Shasta Children and Families First Commission (Proposition 10). Cragle holds a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in social science from California State University, Chico. |
