Student Health Risk, Resilience, and Academic Performance (PPT)
This presentation explains the findings of the analyses Dr. Thomas Hanson conducted on the relationship of health risks and resilience, as measured by the CHKS, to differences in standardized test scores. The final report, Ensuring That No Child Is Left Behind, has now been published and is being distributed to district superintendents and SDFSCA coordinators throughout the state. The Powerpoint includes talking points and background information for each slide to enable anyone to make a presentation on the study results. This research supported by the Stuart Foundation.
