In order to promote the benefits of early intervention for infants and toddlers, birth-3, in your local communities, the WestEd Center for Prevention and Early Intervention is pleased to announce that California Early Start Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are now available on DVD. The DVD contains :10-, :15-, :20, :30-, and :60-second versions of the PSAs in both English and Spanish. Contact cpei@wested.org to order your free copy.
The Early Start Institutes, sponsored by the California Department of Developmental Services, build competencies for Early Start service coordinators and early intervention service providers.
The Institutes provide the knowledge base that all personnel involved in early intervention are expected to have in common, above and beyond knowledge in an individual area of specialization. With this foundation of critical knowledge, Institute participants are better prepared to build and practice skills through local training and direct supervision experiences.
