This year focuses on services in natural environments and
accountability. Participants will learn about a community-
based early intervention model embracing parent training, services in
natural environments, and self-directed strategies that enhance program
quality and capacity. DDS will provide an overview of quality program
indicators defining effective, evidence-based services sustainable over
time for children and their families. Each day, participants have an
option of four breakout sessions that provide more in-depth knowledge.
Day One, Wednesday, April 9

Note: Personnel who deliver early intervention services to eligible infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years) are eligible to apply for Early Start Personnel Development Fund Attendance Scholarships to attend the Early Start Institutes.
