Quality Assurance
To address quality assurance and noncompliance findings of Early Start programs. Some suggested options are:
- Orientation program for new staff
- Establishing a multidisciplinary team
- Staff development procedures for paraprofessionals
- Supportive supervision program
- Natural environment process
- Evaluation and assessment process
- Other innovative proposals that meet the purpose and intent of the California Early Start Personnel Development Fund that address qualitly assurance and noncompliance findings.
To assist local Early Start agencies in meeting the training needs that are specific to their individual communities by supporting the delivery of local training activities or events.
Examples of recommended events are:
- Inservice/workshop specific to early intervention
- Single topic events
- Interagency and community events
(Multi-topic conferences/institutes do not qualify.)
