Project Description: The Direct Support Professional Training (DSPT) Program, funded by the California Department of Developmental Services, revised the DSP training materials and provided a training of trainers for DSP trainers across the state. In addition, curriculum revision and biannual trainings were developed and provided for the DSP trainers. WestEd also developed the Quality Management System, which consists of annual classroom observation processes for all trainers; Student Satisfaction Surveys; and analysis and revision of quizzes and tests following training and feedback on materials.
