DESCRIPTION	The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, along with other leading civil rights and education policy groups released a guiding document titled, Framework for providing all students an opportunity to learn through re-authorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), to highlight six recommended priorities for safeguarding all children’s civil right to high quality education. This document includes two key components for policy guidance on equity issues in education: (1) a critical look at recent federal efforts to improve and reform public education and (2) specific recommendations for implementing each of the six priorities suggested for ensuring equitable educational opportunities for all children.
