WestEd's English Learners and the Language Arts (ELLA) is a comprehensive, systematic, and research-based professional development process that increases the rigor of instruction for English learners and other linguistically diverse students.

• We provide training to teachers - an intensive and thorough overview of the most current research-based instructional strategies for effectively teaching English learners and students at risk for academic difficulties.
• We model evidence-based, effective, and replicable instructional strategies in real classrooms with real kids.
