Research Associate
Nancy Gerzon joined WestEd in 2000 as Senior Program/Research Associate for Learning Innovations, and specializes in designing and facilitating professional development. She works with state departments of education, educational collaboratives, school districts, and schools to assist in developing unique programs for their specific needs. She brings skills in developing educational leadership and organizing large-scale professional development events, and focuses on training school-team facilitators to support teams during the school change process.
Gerzon has been supporting school districts to better understand school reform processes for the past 10 years. She has nearly 20 years of experience in career development and career counseling, and brings to this work strong content knowledge of interdisciplinary career-focused curriculum and career development as an aspect of school reform.
She received a BS in psychology from S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook and an MA in business administration/human resources from Rivier College.
