Cheryl Y. Williams
Director, Outreach Services, Learning Innovations

Cheryl Williams is Director of Outreach at WestEd's Learning Innovations. She has been with WestEd since 1996. Williams promotes business development and growth of Learning Innovations in the areas of school and organizational change, she connects all areas of Learning Innovations work with clients, and she provides technical assistance in team building using resources such as The Making Change for School Improvement: A Simulation Game and the Myers Briggs Type Inventory as lead services to introduce Learning Innovations work as part of larger Learning Innovations projects. Williams also promotes Learning Innovations publications and services to national associations, other organizations, and to individual clients.

Williams has extensive marketing experience in education, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations. She also has skills and experience in developing leadership skills for educators and community members and for planning and organizing large-scale professional development events.

She received a BS in psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MA in organizational development from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia.
