Conference Coordinator
Kate Meissert joined WestEd in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant supporting the staff of the agency's Strategic Literacy Initiative (SLI). Her responsibilities include: event planning and coordination for SLI’s local professional development networks; travel and logistical planning for regional work; generating, tracking, and processing financial paperwork, including contracts and vendor payments; oversight of material production for use at SLI professional development sessions; grant proposal and reporting coordination; and assisting with other project work as needed.
Meissert received a BA in history with a minor in physical anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MA in medieval history from King’s College London.
