Conference Coordinator
Margot Kenaston joined WestEd in 2000 as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the 10-member Strategic Literacy Initiative (SLI) team.
Her responsibilities as a Conference Coordinator include event planning and coordination for SLI's professional development sessions, institutes, and conferences; travel and logistics planning for regional work; generating, tracking, and processing financial documents, including contracts and vendor payments; oversight of production of materials for use at SLI professional development sessions; and assisting with other project work as needed.
Prior to joining WestEd, Kenaston worked in a similar capacity supporting the Vice President of Education and Museum Services and her department at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland.
Kenaston graduated with honors from Haverford College, where she received a BA in English, with a concentration in gender studies.
