Jody Skidmore Sherriff is a Regional Director of WestEd's K-12 Alliance, serving the Sacramento area and California's far northern counties and providing statewide and local leadership for K-12 Alliance activities. Sherriff has been an elementary and middle school teacher for over twenty years. Her education background also includes experience providing professional development for the California Science Implementation Network (CSIN) and California Science Project of Inland Northern California (CSP-INC), acting as a trainer for state science testing programs, presenting at state and national science conferences, acting as a school coordinator for the Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement/Rural Systemic Initiative (MESA/RSI), and serving on the California Science Framework Committee. Skidmore has a BS in language arts and mathematics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and an MEd in school administration from the University of LaVerne.
