All of us have been deeply affected by news of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. And while the continued images and stories from the Gulf Coast are excruciatingly painful, this disaster has helped bring people together to support and nurture one another, reminding us of our shared vulnerability and our collective human spirit, resolve, and strength.

WestEd staff have found a variety of ways to respond to the challenges presented by this disaster, individual approaches that reflect our own values, priorities, and perspectives.

As an agency, WestEd extends its support and condolences to the survivors of Hurricane Katrina and all those affected by the disaster. We offer the following information and resources along with our deepest sympathies. We are here to help.

Sincerely,
Glen Harvey
