How to Submit a Publication Prospectus

1. Submit a prospectus that describes the book or other product that you have authored or intend to author. The prospectus should follow the form provided here. (See below.)
2. No submissions can be considered without a full prospectus.
3. Accompany this prospectus with a sample chapter or section. For print products, the sample should be provided as a Microsoft Word document or a double-spaced hard copy. Videotapes must be in VHS format. CD-ROMs and DVDs may also be submitted.
4. In the absence of a sample of the proposed work, submit a sample of other, previously published work.
5. Address your submission to Acquisitions, WestEd Publishing, 730 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA 94107; or acquisitions@wested.org.


6. All submissions will be acknowledged upon receipt.
7. To have your submitted materials returned to you, include a stamped, self-addressed mailer.

Accompany the form with sample chapters or other published works that demonstrate your capacity to produce the proposed publication.
