A Call for Research and Evaluation Study Participants

WestEd is actively recruiting participants (e.g., teachers, schools, and districts) for various research and evaluation studies currently underway:

We are not recruiting at this time. Please check back for future recruitment opportunities.

A nonprofit agency working at local, state, and federal levels, WestEd develops research-based programs, intervention strategies, and other resources, including publications and services. Whether it's research, evaluation, policy support, or technical assistance, we work to find the best answers to enduring challenges and emerging questions in education and human development.

As a study or project participant, teachers, students, schools, and districts help us gather valuable data and measure progress in areas such as curriculum development, teaching strategies, and assessment design. Participation in our research and evaluation studies is always voluntary; study participants have the right to withdraw from the study at any time and may do so without penalty.

WestEd's Office of Research Integrity houses our Human Research Protection Program and its Institutional Review Board. It also ensures compliance with various research requirements for protection of human subjects and the privacy of individuals' data. That is, WestEd staff engage with the education and human development fields respectfully and carefully. The agency also complies with school and district policies and communicates effectively with those involved in or affected by our work.

For more information about participation in WestEd research and evaluation studies, please contact Becca Klarin in the Office of Research Integrity at 415.615.3202 or bklarin@wested.org.
