Position Description

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in early childhood education, early intervention, educational psychology, developmental psychology or related field.
* Experience conducting observations and/or assessments; experience using the Early Childhood Environmental Ratings Scales-Revised (ECERS-R), Family Day Care Rating Scales (FDCRS) and/or Family Child Care Environment Rating Scales – Revised (FCCERS-R); demonstrated reliability on these instruments is preferred.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
* Experience working with staff at child care programs, social service agencies, or schools, preferred.
* Ability to work well both independently and under direction.
* Knowledge of early childhood education, infant/toddler care and child development.
* Must have transportation and be able to travel throughout Los Angeles County, including west LA.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
