Least Restrictive Environment Resources Project
about the project
Managed by the California Department of Education and WestEd, the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Resources Project develops resources for use by districts and sites to improve services for all students.
To achieve the above goal, the project is establishing a network of leadership sites and consultants that focuses on teacher training, mentoring, facilitating, technical assistance, and specialized materials.
While the project is implementing service improvements for specific districts and sites, a special network of leadership sites and consultants is also being developed to improve the outcomes of students with disabilities in development.
