Classroom teachers need accessible and engaging ways to discover best practices, encourage innovation, and use digital tools to improve productivity, communication, and instruction.

Through an active blog and a regular video podcast, the Infinite Thinking Machine shares a wide variety of practical ideas for using today’s digital tools to impact student learning. Sponsored by Google and produced by WestEd Interactive, the project serves as a jump start to wider conversation about innovation and creativity in K-12 education.

For the “active blog,” education technology experts were recruited to post ideas on an ongoing basis, keeping the content relevant and fresh. These blog “comments” allow the wider K-12 community to actively participate in the conversation. Fast-paced video podcasts are viewable on the web, as a download, or on portable media players, and offer a quick and easy way for teachers to keep up with the latest digital resources.
