BuildingChoice.org is a web-based toolkit for district administrators and others seeking to expand or improve public school choice options for parents, teachers, and students.

Providing online access to additional information about the places profiled in the Innovation Guides — resources produced by WestEd's Innovation Studies Program for the U.S. Department of Education — the website features descriptions of key practices, examples of district materials, and downloadable tools in five key areas:

• Building a Vision
• District Operations
• Communication with Parents
• Supporting Schools
• Evaluation and Improvement

BuildingChoice.org is currently being expanded and updated with additional choice sites, more resources, and new information about charter schools and supplemental educational services.
