
Evaluation of the Texas School Dropout Prevention and Reentry Program Grants: Final Report

This final report, written by WestEd's Jaclyn Tejwani, Valentin Pedroza, and Jodie Hoffman, presents to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) a description of the activities and results of the evaluation of the Texas School Dropout Prevention and Reentry Program (TSDPRP) grants. TSDPRP is a comprehensive effort to reduce the dropout rate in Texas and improve student outcomes. Three tasks comprise the TSDPRP evaluation:
- Impact of the Expansion of the Communities In Schools (CIS) Case Management Model;
- Assessment of the Dropout Recovery Resource Guide; and
- Impact of the statewide training of education professionals.
