A member of WestEd's staff since 1969, Jerry Bailey serves as Senior Statistician to various WestEd projects and clients. He is responsible for sampling on the California Healthy Kids Survey study.

Previous assignments providing statistical expertise included major roles in data analysis for the Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Education and California New Teacher Program projects. He also provided analytic support to the Los Angeles Unified School District Charter Schools evaluation.

Bailey received a BA and an MA in sociology from California State University, Los Angeles.
