Patti Crotti works as a Senior Program Associate for WestEd's Comprehensive School Assistance Program. Crotti works extensively with underperforming middle and high schools to improve their capacity to support the implementation of No Child Left Behind. Her responsibilities include working as a lead and member of a state assistance intervention team for secondary schools, establishing and developing long-term sustainable literacy plans, providing technical support to assist federally identified program improvement districts to meet AYP, and serving on the state language arts committee.

Before joining WestEd in 2004, Crotti served at the district, site, and county office levels, including K-12 Senior Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Secondary Education, County Office of Education Curriculum Coordinator, High School Vice Principal, and Secondary Reading Specialist. Her experience also includes chairing accreditation committees and conducting professional development on the implementation of standards-based assessment and accountability systems.

Crotti received a BA in English from Holy Names University and an MS in educational leadership from California State University, Hayward. In addition, Crotti earned an Administrative Services Credential and Reading Specialist Credential from California State University, Hayward, and a Standard Secondary Credential from the University of California, Berkeley.
