Presentation: For Our Babies: A National Campaign to Ensure Better BeginningsTime: 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Description:
Learn the component parts of For Our Babies, a campaign that advocates for better services for children under three.
You also will learn the needs of babies for four types of currently under-supported services:
- Supported pregnancies
- Paid parental leave
- Screening and follow-up services
- Quality infant/toddler care
The presenters will summarize recent neuroscience and developmental psychology to clearly spell out the connection between early support for babies and future functioning in school and adult life.

Presentation: What Babies Need from Caregivers to Structure Their Brains for the FutureTime: 3-4:30 p.m.

Description:
Learn the impact of the infant/toddler care they supervise or provide on the:
- Structural development of the brain
- Future social, emotional, intellectual, and language capacities of the children in their care
- Role parents play in fostering brain development
Presenters will also explore the link between responsive, reflective, personalized care and how the brain is optimally structured.
