20/20 Vision: PITC 20th Anniversary Graduate Conference, Gala, and Symposium

The Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC), a collaboration between WestEd and the California Department of Education, will celebrate 20 years of research, professional development services, and technical assistance with a PITC Graduate Conference open to fully certified PITC graduates, and an Anniversary Gala and National Symposium open to the public. All events will be held at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel, 55 Fourth Street (between Market and Mission).

PITC Graduate Conference

Tuesday, October 3 – Thursday, October 5, 2006
Conference cost: $840*
(Registration to the PITC Graduate Conference includes room and board plus admission to the Anniversary Gala and National Symposium.)Join fellow PITC graduates for presentations on the future of American infant/toddler care from internationally known experts — with special guest appearances. Participants will travel back to the origins of PITC, revisit joint accomplishments, and plan the future together.

*Fellowships are available only for PITC fully certified California residents, reducing the registration cost to $250. (Fellowship-sponsored registration includes room and board plus admission to the Graduate Conference, Anniversary Gala, and National Symposium.)

Graduate Conference Hotel Options:
If you wish to make reservations beyond the Graduate Conference dates (our rooming list only includes October 3-4), then you will need to call the Marriott hotel directly at 415-896-1600. PITC Anniversary Gala

Join colleagues in the infant/toddler care community for PITC’s 20th Anniversary Gala celebration. An evening of fun, food, and fellowship is in store, beginning with a reception and homage to those making special contributions to the infant/toddler field, followed by dinner and dancing. An ongoing multimedia installation will present milestones in infant/toddler care and honor caregivers, complete with "Happy Birthday" messages from internationally known dignitaries and leaders in the field.
