Family Resources and Supports Institute

The Family Resources and Supports Institute catalog and registration information will be available February 2010.

WestEd's Early Start Institutes, including the Family Resources and Supports Institute, build competencies for Early Start service coordinators and early intervention service providers. The Institutes are sponsored by the California Department of Developmental Services.

The Early Start Institutes provide the knowledge base that all personnel involved in early intervention are expected to have in common, above and beyond knowledge in an individual area of specialization. With this foundation of critical knowledge, Institute participants will be better prepared to build and practice skills through local training and direct supervision experiences.
