Gregory Austin, Director of the Health & Human Development Program at WestEd, was selected to receive the Director’s Award for Innovative and Effective Research Approaches from the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP).
The Director’s Awards recognize valuable contributions by individuals and organizations to the treatment, prevention, and recovery fields.
Austin leads the California Healthy Kids and School Climate Surveys — the largest statewide assessments of youth resiliency, protective factors, and risk behaviors associated with learning and well-being in the nation. .
