Salmon Fishing Curriculum KitInvestigations into Probability
The mathematics in this module, designed for grades 6-7, is set in the context of the Yup'ik people's subsistence and commercial fishing. Students will explore concepts such as theoretical and experimental probabilities, the law of large numbers, sample space, and equally and not equally likely events.
