DRDP Reminder

The first Desired Results Developmental Profile-Revised (DRDP-R) must be completed within 60 calendar days of the child¹s first day of enrollment in the program and every six months thereafter for all age levels. 

DRDP-R Update - July 2009

Programs should continue to use the current profile, the DRDP-R, during the 2009-10 contract year. The revised DRDP-R aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations, Volume 1, will be required July 2010. We will continue to provide updates and materials throughout the year. Check back soon for the latest information!

Draft California Preschool Curriculum Framework, Volume 1, now posted

The draft California Preschool Curriculum Framework, Volume 1, is now posted on the CDE Web site at: www.cde.ca.gov/sp/cd/re/psframework.asp<http://www.cde.ca.gov/sp/cd/re/psframework.asp> for public review and comment. 

DRDP-R Change in Education Code

The California Code of Regulations Title V has been changed.  The following change has been completed:

(b) The Desired Results Developmental Profile required in subdivision (a) shall be completed for each child within 60 calendar days of enrollment and at least once every six months for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children.

Previously the DRDP was required more frequently for infant and toddlers.  A management bulletin will be forthcoming giving direction to Title V programs.


Fall 2009 CPIN Online Course Registration is now closed. Spring registration will re-open in early January 2010.
