Administration History & Reports

Since 1998, the Healthy Kids Survey has been successfully administered in 12 U.S. states, including Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Groups in Australia and South Africa have also administered the survey.

California

In California, the HKS is mandated statewide. By Fall 2004, the survey had been administered in over 900 school districts in over 7,000 schools to more than 1,800,000 students. Of these districts, over 700 have administered the survey more than once.
