WestEd Announces New Partnership With Edusoft

WestEd has teamed with Edusoft, a leading education technology provider, to offer a uniquely powerful assessment platform to school districts, Glen Harvey, WestEd CEO has announced.

“WestEd and Edusoft have combined resources,” she said in a prepared statement, “to provide school districts with tools and expertise helpful to meeting requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

"This is the first time in our more than 35-year history that WestEd has formally partnered with a technology enterprise to offer solutions to school districts, administrators, and teachers alike,” Dr. Harvey said. “But Edusoft has broken all the barriers. We're thrilled to be working together."

Patrick Keegan, Edusoft Executive Vice President of Market Development, and former Deputy Superintendent of California's DOE, said that "WestEd's unparalleled expertise in student assessment and data-driven decision making, and leadership in educational reform make working with this agency a very exciting opportunity.”

Together, Edusoft and WestEd are working to make standards-based and data-driven instruction a reality for schools:
  • Data-driven diagnostic tools for teachers and administrators to analyze and pinpoint areas needing improvement
  • Training from assessment experts on using data to drive instructional decisions at the classroom, school and district levels
  • Cutting edge, low cost, plain paper scanning technology to deploy the platform district-wide
