Working With WestEd
Across the country, WestEd staff successfully work on a variety of projects and in partnerships with schools, education agencies, policymakers, and others in education and human development.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss how our services and products can support your work on behalf of children, families, and communities. In addition to subcontracting with small businesses, WestEd is an approved vendor under two federal Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contracts.
We also want to know how your services and products can help support our work. WestEd periodically issues Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for potential vendors to supply specific — oftentimes complex and detailed — goods and services. We are especially interested in hearing from small- and minority- owned businesses.

Federal Contract Vehicles
WestEd's partnership with the federal government traces back to 1966, when Congress first funded a network of Regional Educational Laboratories to find practical, research-based ways to improve the academic achievement of our nation's children. Our work has since expanded well beyond K-12 education.
We address areas such as early childhood care and education, health and prevention, school improvement, career technical education, mathematics, and science education and literacy. Within these areas, we provide research and development, evaluation, assessment, policy analysis, training, technical assistance, and other consulting services to federal, state, and local governments, foundations, and community organizations.
WestEd is an approved vendor under two federal Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contracts:
- U.S. Department of Education Streamlined Acquisition Tool (ED-SAT)
- U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Program Support Center Task Order (PSC)
WestEd also has a task order contract through 2015 with the General Services Administration under the Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) schedule.
All three contracts simplify conducting business with federal agencies by eliminating the need to go through a time-consuming procurement process. Visit our ED-SAT, PSC, and MOBIS pages for more information about the services WestEd offers through these contracts.
