Use the TA to plan multimedia presentations Instructional Plan: The curricular and instructional focus of this TIP is the study of dinosaurs by second graders. Students will be pre assessed of their knowledge of dinosaurs through student drawings and surveys. The students will integrate the theme of dinosaurs through a variety of curricular areas and will work in cooperative groups to learn the elements of writing including brainstorming, research, writing, proofreading, editing, rewriting, and final copy. The second component of this TIP will focus on students learning to present their reports in a multimedia format including storyboarding, use of graphics, adding sound clips, and information integration. The students will use the Internet to access additional resources and draw upon the learnings of other students' study of dinosaurs. Additionally, experts in the field of study on dinosaurs will be contacted to give students primary source information. The final product will be student designed and produced multimedia reports.
