| The composition of Nevada's citizenry is rapidly changing. In addition to being the fastest growing state in the nation, Nevada's minority population increased from 28% to 41% between 1990 and 1999.
Our work in Nevada has focused on assisting the Nevada Department of Education with their statewide mathematics and science reform efforts. This work is facilitated by the establishment of Eisenhower National Clearinghouse Access Centers at the regional Professional Development Centers. We are also working with Nevada state programs to develop a cadre of Math and Science teacher leaders.
