Research and Evaluation Services to Improve Literacy for All
Our researchers work with a variety of partners to gain a deep understanding of literacy programs, policies, and interventions so that we can frame relevant questions, develop and apply innovative methods, and communicate our findings to improve outcomes for all.
Throughout our work, we bring experienced, multidisciplinary perspectives with focused expertise in the following areas:
- Deep knowledge of statistics and mixed methods design, as applied to literacy policy and practice
- Perspective of working systemically to improve literacy outcomes
- Understanding of the components of high-quality, effective reading curricula
- Understanding of assessment and its role in literacy development
We conduct a broad range of research that includes descriptive studies, impact studies, and R&D cycles. In addition, we work with SEAs, districts, and schools as an evaluation partner.
