The Early Start Neighborhood is an online community for parents and professionals who are part of the California Early Start program, designed to improve outcomes for infants and toddlers with or at risk for developmental disabilities and their families. The Early Start Neighborhood includes information on training, technical assistance, and resources on early intervention Part C requirements, implementation, and evidence-based practices.

The Neighborhood is funded by the Department of Developmental Services and maintained by WestEd’s Center for Prevention & Early Intervention under the Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (a required component of a state’s early intervention system under Part C of IDEA).
