WestEd’s Raising the Bar on Instruction website draws together resources from across the agency’s wide-ranging projects and programs to support educators as they plan and implement effective standards-aligned instruction.

The recent site redesign — featuring a revised homepage, improved search feature, and mobile-friendly layout — makes it easier for users to find what they’re looking for faster.

The latest addition to the website is a growing library, Building Educator Assessment Literacy, which includes more than 40 videos and documents to help teachers and coaches use curriculum-embedded performance assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction. Check out the library’s two collection of resources: English Language Arts and Mathematics.

Raising the Bar on Instruction also offers users quick access to descriptions and contact information for WestEd’s available professional development and technical assistance services across five major areas of support:

  • Curriculum alignment
  • Assessment and accountability
  • Subject-area expertise
  • Diverse learners
  • Conditions for learning
