Rorie Fitzpatrick was recently appointed Co-Director of the WestEd Center for Prevention & Early Intervention (CPEI), with longtime CPEI Director Virginia Reynolds.

Fitzpatrick previously was WestEd’s Director of Special Projects, promoting cross-program collaboration and working with leaders across the agency to develop and implement services related to the Common Core State Standards and other agency issues.

CPEI provides training and technical assistance in support of children and youth (birth through age 22) with, or at risk for, disabilities and their families.

Reynolds directed CPEI for nearly 20 years. She has grown the program and overseen several large-scale training and technical assistance projects, including the California Early Start Comprehensive System of Personnel Development, the California Inclusion and Behavior Consultation Network, and the Least Restrictive Environment Resources Project.
