Successful Classroom Strategies for Urban Science Educators

Join WestEd at the 2018 National Science Teachers Association Conference for a presentation titled, “Successful Classroom Strategies for Urban Science Educators.” In this presentation led by clinical psychologist and author Sherry Blake, special guests and urban science educators — including WestEd’s Bejanae Kareem — will discuss the current urban science teaching and learning landscape. This session will allow thoughtful discussion on instructional strategies and lessons learned, ways to enhance the learning environment, and the use of clinically proven methods to help students succeed.
