Register for Increasing Equity through High-Quality Charter Schools: What Can We Learn from Research and Practice?

The Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center at WestEd, a federally funded center that helps state education leaders in the Mid-Atlantic region plan, implement, and sustain educational improvement efforts, will host a policy forum, 9:30am–12pm, on Tuesday, February 6, in Washington, DC. The forum is entitled, “Increasing Equity through High-Quality Charter Schools: What Can We Learn from Research and Practice?”

During the event, national and state leaders will discuss how high-quality charter schools can increase educational equity. Panelists will highlight current research, best practices, and MACC@WestEd’s forthcoming paper, to be released at the event, which addresses the role of federal, state, and district policymakers in ensuring equity for all students.
