An Tran is a Research Assistant II with WestEd’s Charters & School Choice team.
Tran primarily supports WestEd’s work on the National Charter School Resource Center, under the Charter School Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. She assists in developing publications, tools and resources for charter authorizers, state education agencies, and charter management organizations.
Before joining WestEd, Tran worked as a Research Assistant for the American Institutes for Research, supporting multiple research projects such as the Broad Prize for Public Charter School and the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS).
She received her BA in Psychology & Education and Economics from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and her MS in Applied Statistics and Psychometrics from Boston College.
