Felisa Nobles

Felisa Nobles is the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager for WestEd. She brings over a decade of experience working in the field of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in a start-up capacity.  Felisa is passionate about creating EDI strategies for new centers and divisions. In her role at WestEd, she works to ensure that internal systems and processes are equitable and that a diverse workforce is intentionally cultivated and supported.

Felisa has designed and implemented internal EDI strategies that focus on diversifying the STEM workforce for organizations such as Harvard University and Wayfair LLC.  At Harvard School of Public Health she led the diversity and outreach strategy for a National Center of Excellence to engage students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty in infectious disease modeling.  She later served as the Director of Recruitment Programs for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.  She created several interventions and systems to promote transparency, elevate issues related to structural inequities, and remove barriers to competitive research institutions for underrepresented researchers.  Most recently she implemented the EDI strategy for a new division at Wayfair LLC, a 17,000 employee e-commerce organization, overseeing the Employee Resource Group and community development strategy.
