Richard Wenn

As the Director of Digital Development, Richard Wenn is responsible for the development of digital services that add value to WestEd's program efforts.

Wenn works closely with the Chief Administrative Officer, the Institutional Development Department, the Information Services Department, the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Program Directors, and other leaders to define WestEd’s digital strategy and develop funded digital services that accomplish WestEd’s mission to improve education and learning.

Previously, Wenn served as WestEd's Director of Information Services, providing staff with digital media and computing applications that enhanced communication, research, collaboration, and publishing activities in their field of study; institutional information from departments; desktop and mobile computing technology; and network access to the WestEd enterprise and the Internet.

Prior to 2002, Wenn served as the Media and Communications Director for the WestEd Eisenhower Regional Consortium for 8 years. His work included the development of print and electronic media in conjunction with the Consortia's efforts that help education communities find and share resources and programs that enable teachers to improve student performance.
