Stephanie T. Davis is a School and District Improvement Specialist for WestEd. With professional experience working as a Principal, she has expertise in the areas of continuous school improvement, research-based instructional practice, effective leadership, and positive school culture. She serves as a consulting specialist to educational leaders by providing professional development, coaching, feedback, and comprehensive planning support.
Prior to joining WestEd, Stephanie served as a Principal at an Arizona school with a significant population of students from historically underserved communities. By strengthening leadership and staff knowledge of high-yield improvement strategies, the school became an A-rated Arizona School, A+ School of Excellence, and an ICLE Model School for Growth. Stephanie was named a top 10 Principal in Arizona based on her work to meet continuous improvement goals for growth. Through her guidance, leaders and staff transformed school culture by committing to a schoolwide system of high expectations, implementing a research-based curriculum with fidelity, and using data effectively to improve outcomes.
Stephanie holds an EdS in Leadership from Oakland University, MEd in Media & Technology form Eastern Michigan University, and a BA in Journalism from Grand Valley State University. She has extensive knowledge through continued doctoral-level courses and leadership experiences in effective K–12 organizations.
