This resource summarizes three studies that examined the progress of students who were designated as English learners in 2006/07, tracking them through 2011/12 in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.

The studies followed cohorts of English learners in kindergarten, grade 3, and grade 6, looking specifically at development in English fluency and in mastering core academic content in English language arts and math.
