Description
This report, produced by the Center for the Future of Teaching and Learning at WestEd, provides data and projections on the teacher shortage in California and the continuing concentration of the state’s underprepared teachers in schools serving poor and minority students.
The report also measures California’s progress in recruiting, preparing, and supporting teachers, and provides a new, first-time analysis of California’s High School Exit Exam results by teacher qualification.
