Data for Continuous Programmatic Improvement: Steps Colleges of Education Must Take to Become a Data Culture
Educator preparation programs have come under scrutiny for failing to produce quality teachers and administrators. Accordingly, many of these colleges of education are seeking to better understand ways to improve their curricula, align with school districts’ needs, and better prepare future educators. Using data is an effective way to determine programmatic strengths and weaknesses in these areas, and to ultimately inform important steps toward continuous programmatic improvement.
This edited volume addresses how educator preparation programs can use data to explore critical issues and inform continuous improvements to their programs. Included in this volume are chapters focusing on:
