This study, prepared by REL West, examines the links between the grade 12 mathematics courses that Nevada students take and the likelihood of students needing to take remedial mathematics courses in Nevada’s public colleges and universities. It analyzes remediation rates by students’ highest-level grade 12 mathematics course, by their grade 12 mathematics grade point average, and by various student and school characteristics.
